Why use Tweetmarks?

I like to share links on Twitter, but it's not easy finding that one link I shared two weeks ago. Tweetmarks can keep track of all the links you share in Twitter, or just the ones you retweet or categorize. Then when you're looking for a link, just come to Tweetmarks and you'll be sure to find it in an instant! I also really like using del.icio.us to organize my links, so if you have a del.icio.us account you can have your Tweetmarks automatically added!

How to use Tweetmarks

Go to Settings and sign in to Tweetmarks using your Twitter username and password (we don't store your password). You can then change your Settings if you'd like. Tweetmarks works automatically from there! Just twitter like you usually do, and when there's a link we'll bookmark it for you!

If you don't want all of your links added to Tweetmarks (or del.icio.us) you can limit the links that are added from (a) tweets that have a hash tag (like #apple) or (b) retweets from someone else's tweets.

What else can Tweetmarks do?

You can add all of your links back through April 2008 (when Summize.com started) by turning on the feature in Settings.

You can also send bookmarks directly to @tweetmarks through a direct message. First follow @tweetmarks, then "d tweetmarks http://somedomain.com/somepage.html". You can add a hashtag and a description too if you'd like: "d tweetmarks I found this digital camera reviews page helpful http://somecamerareviews.com/somepage.html #photography".
